Joshua Whalley

Branch Manager at Douglas Elliman, GRID Community Leader

Raised on Long Island, NY, Joshua left only to honorably serve in the United States Army, both domestically and overseas. His career, enriched by a diverse educational and professional background, underscores a profound commitment to excellence in service to his clients and team.

With significant military roles, including a Senior Human Resources Manager with the 101st Airborne Division and a leadership position in the Virginia National Guard, Joshua honed his sense of duty and service. These experiences, along with authoring a career development guide for NCOs and instructing at the Virginia Army National Guard Officer Candidate School, instilled in him a military-grade work ethic which he applies diligently in his civilian career.

In real estate, Joshua’s expertise is comprehensive, stemming from nearly 15 years of experience across various sectors, including mortgage lending at CitiFinancial and real estate appraisal, where he conducted over 1,000 valuations. His tenure as Operations Manager for a real estate firm on Long Island’s North Fork further expanded his skill set in managing distressed assets, sales, and development projects.

Currently, as a branch manager at Douglas Elliman since 2018, Joshua leverages his extensive knowledge and personal approach to empower his agents, ensuring exceptional service delivery that surpasses client expectations. His academic achievements in Human Resources and ongoing MBA in Project Management from Grantham University complement his vast professional experience, allowing him to offer unparalleled insight into the real estate market.

Sean Morrison

Owner and founder of Benchmark Construction Management

Sean was raised in Riverhead, NY, where he was the youngest of four siblings. This small-town setting, with its close community and natural beauty, shaped Sean’s early values and interests. From his youth, Sean was deeply involved in sports, finding his passion in wrestling, football, and golf. These activities not only filled his days but also instilled in him lessons on teamwork, discipline, and perseverance.

After high school, Sean ventured beyond his familiar surroundings to Las Vegas, where he pursued a business degree at UNLV. This period was marked by new experiences and challenges, broadening his horizons both academically and personally. It was here that Sean discovered rugby, a sport that complemented his competitive nature and love for team dynamics. Las Vegas offered more than just education; it was a time of growth and exploration.

His dedication and entrepreneurial spirit led him to establish his own residential construction company in 2000. Sean’s business became known for its quality, reliability, and personalized service, making significant contributions to the local community by enhancing the living spaces of numerous families.

Sean is married and a father to three children, whom he considers his most rewarding achievement. Sean’s dedication to his family mirrors his commitment to his clients. Sean’s favorite hobbies include boat trips around Long Island, offshore fishing, and golfing. For Sean, life is about finding the perfect balance between work, family, and play, a philosophy that has guided him through his journey.
